Pixels Per Inch
Hello darlings! So as I posted yesterday, I have lots of reasons for the lack of posts, but I'm trying to get back into the swing of things once again! As you have already guessed, school rules my life right now. I'm constantly in classes, working on assignments, or at work. This leaves me with very few hours to enjoy myself! But despite the lack of "me time", I have learned to see the good in this hectic schedule. I am currently trying to see the good in everything instead of immediately pin pointing the negative. I think as humans, many of us have the tendency to see/find the bad in things when in reality there is a world of good in all things too. When I was younger (High School/Beginning of College) I was "Little Miss Optimistic" and lived by the motto "Never Take Anything Too Seriously!" Back then I also had this free spirited view about living. I wanted to experience everything for myself, first hand. I knew that life was what I made out of it. I knew that it was up to me to make things happen in my life. I knew that I was capable of achieving BIG THINGS and I WANTED TO SO BADLY! I couldn't wait for "life to start!". Now, of course I have since grown up and been through more of life to find out that none of this is easy. So after a 4 year depression and a very big low point in my life, I have decided to adopt my old ways of thinking once again! However, I will know this time around that My goals are NOT EASY ONES to accomplish.. but for me, that makes them so much more worth pursuing. This time, I will keep my chin up and hold my head high and learn to take the good, the bad, the ugly.. and then hold on to the GOOD and take that with me on my journey. Now, back to my hectic schedule. The good in that is that it is often filled with things I love.. like designing and doing photo shoots, playing dress up.. and having fun. These things plus my amazing Godly family and sweet friends, my amazing professors and my kind customers get me through these days and I am so thankful for all of them. Today, my sister and I did a backyard photo shoot for our assignments due THURSDAY.. and I have to say that I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. So, here is a little sampling from the shoot. There will be moreto follow and I'll be posting my final project on here once it's complete, until then, ENJOY! Love,Brooke

Reasons.
Hi everyone! So, I am sure you have noticed that I haven't posted in a good while, but I am working to change that. I am in design school, so I have been slammed with projects and speeches galore lately. I wanted to share a few photos from a recent photo shoot I did for my friend/class mate Taylor. This was my first legitimate time shooting guys and I have to say that it turned out super great! So here is a sneak peak! Oh, and when you are done viewing the photos, be sure to go and check out my twin's latest posts. She made 3 ingredient homemade chocolates that were simply divine! I ate a good portion of them. You can check them out here >> Twins.
Now, here are the guys.

Tuesdays,Speeches&Cupcakes
Good afternoon everyone! So, I just got home from school and am about to head to work, but I thought I'd share a little piece of my day with you before doing so. I don't know how y'all feel about speeches but personally, I dread them. Today, I was all set to give a "how to speech" on taking a professional looking photo and as it turns out, I didn't have to give it today. Of course I am relieved, because I just wanted more time to practice considering that it has to be between 4-6 minutes (I'm a little more than long winded)... but anyway even though I didn't give the speech today, my sister Lexie & I decided to treat ourselves to some delicious cupcakes. I opted for the salted caramel and she chose snickerdoodle. They were delish! So in honor of Tuesday and not giving speeches.. go grab a cupcake or some other delicious treat and treat yourself to 30 minutes of bliss today! Can't wait for you guys to see my next several posts. I'm getting excited so stay tuned!! xoxo -Brooke

Yours Truly
So I have already posted a few things on my wonderful little spot of a blog, but I have yet to fully introduce myself to you/write an about me section.. so this will be it for now. Welcome to The Coral Closet (sorry that the blog address is A Coral Closet.. i'm working on getting that fixed..) My name is Brooke and I am 22 years old. I live in the Sweet and Sweltering State of Georgia. I am still in school, but will be graduating in December. I am going to have a degree in Graphic Design & Web Design as well as a variety of certificates including but not limited to Photography and Printing. I'm upon a big turning point in my life and I figured that it was the perfect time to start blogging. I want to inspire others through my writing, photographs, and designs. I started this blog as a place for fashion inspired posts but I have a feeling its going to include way more than that (especially seeing as how I've yet to make a legit fashion post). I hope that you will join me and read my little blurbs as I take on this next big phase of life. I love meeting new people and I really hope that everyone will leave feedback because for me, life has a lot to do with people and interactions. So go read and enjoy, then comment and/or email me! <3. -Brooke
Summer love.
I'm not sure what your favorite season is, but mine has always been summer (although I'm becoming more and more partial to winter with these crazy Georgia temps). However, for this moment in my life, summer is still my favorite. I love the warmth, the sun-kissed look, the Lake, the Beach! The thrill of staying up all night long and hanging out with friends. Sitting on the patio with a big glass of sweet tea, diet coke or what have you! Some of my fondest memories are from past summers. I feel like summer is a big time for exploration and adventure! So far this summer I haven't gotten to do my normal amount of exploring, staying up late with friends, or visits to the beach/lake/pool... and as summer is starting to come to a close, I feel like I must change that. So I am promising myself that I will get to my summer to do list before it officially ends! I am currently compiling a handful of photos that remind me of summer and I will post it ASAP! Until then, what is your favorite season? Feel free to leave comments. -Brooke
