SLOW THE WOAH!

Hello darlings. I hope you are all well. So, I have been sitting here "planning" this blog post for about an hour now and I wrote about seven pages of content before I realize it and then look up at Lexie and say, "How do you write your blog posts? I mean, how do you decide what not to say?" To which she replies, "I just try to be short and concise. Plus, I just don't really ever have too much to say."
If you know us, you know that this is one of the many defining differences between us. She is well thought out, soft spoken and carries a lot of impact. She is concise and sensible.  Then there's me. I'm the one who talks way tooooo much and I have plenty of things ((all of equal importance in my mind)) to say. Obviously, since I had written seven pages for one blog post! The only reason I sat down and wrote the post on paper in the first place is so that I wouldn't say too much. Figuring this out, I started from scratch to try and post and I am already exceeding the lengths of what I consider to be an ideal blog post.. ugh.
This post was supposed to be about "inspiration" and was going to include fabulous quotes from the super fabulous Oscar Wilde and now it is both NOT THAT and only about what a spazz I am when compared to my lovely twin. FAILURE ALERT! Since it is too late for that, I'm going to conclude by promising you that I am not crazy (or am I) and I just remembered the 7 shots of espresso I had at work tonight. xo, Brooke.
P.S. Lexie has challenged me to blog every day for the next 30 days, and I accepted so that post all about inspiration and quotes from Oscar Wilde will be up tomorrow.. by when I hope to have learned to be somewhat concise. Oh, and since I think every post should contain some type of image, I leave you with this. Hopefully the perfect punch at the end. Oh, and I apologize for the excessive amount of run-ons.

  1. LOL! I think talking too much is a great strength of yours, sista-twin! (I think the espresso/glitter in your eyes is dwindling--but maybe it's my music. Sorry!)
